TSNY was born from the vision of Taylor Spellman’s core belief that a well-designed home is not a luxury; it is an essential component of the human experience along with water, food and love.  From penthouses to eclectic studios to your family homestead, the artistic vision of our design team knows no bounds, offering an aesthetic that ranges from the attainable to the aspirational.  We are hardworking, no-nonsense, fast-talking individuals who work harder, and play the hardest.  We manage our portfolio by veering away from the latest trends and instead, vying for our signature TSNY no-rules aesthetic that results in client centric spaces that are full of character and personality (just like us). 

 We pride ourselves on meeting our clients exactly where they are, guiding them to discovering the design that best suits their life and how they live.  Our firm manages and executes multi-faceted design projects, working hand in hand with contractors, architects, fine art professionals and trade vendors to create interiors that speak to the unique aesthetic of each individual client.  Most importantly, we make it through our twelve-hour days relying on the sanity we create out of our love of sarcasm and all things design.  Our fearless leader, Taylor, inspires us with her creative genius, while her life-long best friend from Girl Scouts, Kate, rules the roost as Chief of Staff, leaving no detail unmanaged and no dollar unaccounted for. While many find it “cute” that we – Taylor and Kate – work together, there is absolutely nothing cute about what we do.  We do not work together for some extra BFF time, but TSNY certainly benefits from our relationship.  Our brand is built on talent and trust. There’s no one more talented than Taylor in Kate’s eyes. And there’s no one Taylor trusts more to help her run TSNY than Kate. We have a bond deeply rooted in friendship, mutual admiration and a tenacious drive for perfection.  Along with our spectacularly talented design team, we work together to tackle the New York City real estate jungle and beyond, day in and day out. There is a lot of blood, sweat and tears that we mop up with a bar napkin and a large glass of wine at the end of every long day.  And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
