Who is Taylor Spellman? 7 Things You Don't Know About the Yours Mine or Ours Star

As Yours Mine or Ours kicks off its very first season, Shahs of Sunset's Reza Farahan has returned to Bravo alongside a newcomer, Taylor Spellman. It's clear that she's involved in the world in real estate, but there's so much more to learn about this interior design guru.

1. She's a Connecticut native.

Although she got her career started in New York, Taylor actually hails from Connecticut. And let's be real, her family knows how to give an adorable welcome home.

2. She put down her dance shoes for design.

She originally came to New York at 18 to dance with the Avlin Ailey American Dance Theater. According to her website, even though she was passionate about dance, "she loved a steady paycheck and a cheeseburger a bit more." I mean, can you blame her?

3. She's a Fordham University alum.

After she decided to change her career path, Taylor attended Fordham University at Lincoln Center as a business major.

4. Ryan Serhant is her friend and client!

The Million Dollar Listing New York real estate shark only works with the best of the best- and that's how you know Taylor is the real deal (besides her obviously stunning work). She's the designer behind all of Ryan's gorgeous New York homes, and it's easy to see that this duo is powerful.

5. She started up her own firm after college.

Trying to figure out life after college is tough, but Taylor makes it look like a breeze. She launched her own internior design firm, Taylor Spellman New York (TSNY for short). She works alongside Lana Ataman and Jacqueline Leung to keep it up and running. Doesn't this trio look like the modern girl power group of your dreams?

6. She doesn't just design spaces.

Taylor isn't just a designer expert- she has a real eye for staging rooms, too. Would you buy a house that doesn't look liveable? Nope. Neither would Taylor.

7. She's a flea market queen.

She puts in her best effort to work with her client's needs but also keep what she's working with quirky and interesting. Sometimes, the traditional furniture store just won't do, and flea markets are ever changing. It's the best way to keep up with that #TaylorTouch.
